Manage the global library
Upload, replace, and remove documents in the shared knowledge corpus.
The Global Library (/operator/global-library) is the
shared corpus every tenant's advisor can use. Changes here affect all tenants, so treat them with
care.
Upload a document
Open Command Center → Knowledge → Global Library.
Start an upload and choose a supported file (PDF, DOCX, or XLSX) and a category.
The document is registered and ingested immediately; watch its stage advance toward completed.
The document is searchable once its status reaches indexed. If it ends in failed, see
ingestion troubleshooting.
Replace a document
Use replace to publish a new version while keeping the same library entry.
Find the document and choose replace.
Upload the new file. The previous version is superseded (removed from retrieval) and the new file is re-ingested.
Remove a document
Find the document and choose delete.
Confirm. The document is removed from the shared corpus and will no longer be retrieved.
Deleting or replacing a global document has a platform-wide blast radius: every tenant loses (or gains) that content. Confirm you're acting on the right document and version before proceeding.
Verify
- The document's stage shows
indexed(upload/replace) or it's gone from the list (delete). - Spot-check the advisor: ask a question the document should answer and confirm it's cited.
- For replaces and deletes, the action is recorded in the audit log.
